A few things to keep on your radar heading into the meeting:

• NORTH GEORGIA HOMEBREW COMPETITION – Entries opened June 1! Limit of 4 entries, 3 bottles per entry, $12/entry fee. Mark your calendar if you plan to enter — this one has filled quickly in the past.  Make sure to check the Midsouth website: https://midsouthbrewer.com/

• WISE GUY CUP – The next contest is July 21 — any beer made with Kveik Yeast. Start brewing!

• CLUB BREW – Belgian Strong Ale in a Chattanooga Whiskey barrel, brewing with Mean King. Brew day will be June 21st at 8:00 am at Mean King.  We currently have 10 members sharing the cost and brew.  You still have time to buy into the brew!

🎉 Chattanooga Beer Fest – May 23rd

This is a big one, Mobsters — and we need YOUR help to make it a success.

We are aiming for roughly 12 kegs, and right now we need more people to step up and donate a keg. Bring 1 keg and you get 2 passes to the fest — plus the genuine joy of watching people enjoy your beer. It doesn’t get much better than that.

🛢️ Club Brew – Barrel Project

We had a great discussion at the last meeting and are moving forward with a Belgian Strong Ale brewed at Mean King Brewery — 120 gallons going into both a Chattanooga Whiskey barrel and a Rye barrel. The club covers 20% of the ~$950 total cost and gets 20% of the beer for club events. Participants split the rest.

Nine members are already in, but we want to make this as strong as possible! More participants means the per-person cost goes down — everybody wins. If you’d like to get in on this, sign up here.
